You and your family may experience many changes during your lives that could trigger a change in your benefit. One of those changes may include you getting married.  It is important to notify Cook County Pension Fund (CCPF) if you get married.

If You Are Getting Married

• Update your beneficiary by completing the Designation of Beneficiary form.  When you are married, your spouse becomes your Primary Beneficiary and may be eligible for any Death Benefit.
• You should send CCPF a copy of your Marriage Certificate.

Marriage After Retirement

If you get married after you retire you may be eligible to add your spouse to your Health Benefits.  Please contact CCPF at (312) 603-1200 for more information.
