The Retirement Board of the County Employees’ and Officers’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Cook County and ex officio for the Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Cook County announce the vacancy of the Forest Preserve District Annuitant member position.  Under Section 9-187 of the Illinois Pension Code, the remaining members of the Retirement Board shall appoint a successor to fill the vacancy to serve during the remainder of the unexpired term. The Retirement Board is seeking a successor to fill the vacant position through November 30, 2016. 

The successor must currently be receiving annuity benefits from the Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund.

Interested candidates should submit an expression of their interest, including any supporting materials for consideration by the Retirement Board to the Fund no later than September 2,  2015.
