January 1st checks will be mailed on Friday December 27th. 

Direct deposits are payable on January 1st; since the first is a holiday, funds should post to your bank account no later than the first business day of the month.  Please contact your financial institution regarding the availability of your funds.  Direct Deposit statements for January 1st will be mailed on or around December 26th.
