2024 Trustee Election Notice
Notice is hereby given to all Cook County employees, Forest Preserve employees, and Cook County annuitants that elections for a Cook County Employee Trustee, Forest Preserve Employee Trustee, and Cook County Annuitant Trustee will be held on October 30, 2024. Only Cook County employees may vote for a Cook County Employee Trustee, only Forest Preserve employees may vote for a Forest Preserve Employee Trustee, and only Cook County annuitants can vote for a Cook County Annuitant Trustee.
Nominating petitions are first available on August 15, 2024, and must be obtained at the Fund’s office at 70 West Madison Street, Suite 1925, Chicago, IL. Nominating petitions must be filed at the Fund’s office during regular business hours between 9:00am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, through 4:30pm on Friday, September 7, 2024.
THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON VOTING FOR THE OCTOBER 2024 ELECTION. YOU CAN ONLY VOTE BY MAIL.
You will receive a ballot in the mail. Mail-in ballots will be mailed no later than September 30, 2024, to your address on record with the Fund. If you do not receive a ballot you must email trusteeelections@countypension.com or call at 312-603-1218 by October 23, 2024, to request another ballot to be mailed out.
